The photo that I chose is part of the "Home project". This work was done by British artists throughout our country. The idea was to build houses with anything they found on the site: wood, irons, etc. and live there for three months and reflecting on the condition of houses and habitability.
They traveled along Route 5 and toured several regions of Chile. Punta de Choros, Cobquecura and Chiloé were some of the places where they built their houses with recycled materials.
Tony Hornecker y Wiliam Farr are the artist who made this project and was Wiliam who take the pic.
The reason why I chose this photograph is because represents the desolation of the desert, the impossibility of living in that place. Although the structure invited  you to participate in it the nature surpasses.
The exhibition is located in Quinta Normal MAC.
